Help us plan better projects and build new opportunities for the most fragile and marginalised young people in Italy and around the world through sport.

The International Day of Peace was established on November 30, 1981 by the United Nations General Assembly, through Resolution 36/67, with the aim of dedicating a day entirely to the promotion of world peace and nonviolence.

Sport has always been a harbinger of Peace, we are reminded of this by ancient Greece, when, for the Olympics, all hostilities were interrupted in order for their athletes to compete and for the populations to experience a moment of serenity.

The importance of this anniversary lies in its invitation to UN member states, governmental and nongovernmental organizations and individuals to focus on that day on promoting educational actions that raise public awareness about global peace.

In a world plagued by wars, the International Day of Peace assumes a vital role, where Sports can be a tool for peacemaking and the reconstruction of countries affected by conflicts.
