21 May is World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development, an important day that commemorates the beauty of diversity and peaceful coexistence between different cultures.  This date was chosen by the United Nations General Assembly in 2002. Every year it is celebrated to reaffirm the key role of culture in change and development.

The Fondazione Milan has always been committed to enhancing the culture of the places in which it operates without trying to change their characteristic aspects, but enhancing their potential through sport. Sport is relationship, sport is dialogue and it is also development.
