August 12

Join the Fondazione Milan team!

Help us plan better projects and build new opportunities for the most fragile and marginalised young people in Italy and around the world through sport.

International Youth Day is celebrated on 12 August and was established by the National Assembly in 1999. It is commemorated annually to bring youth issues to the attention of the international community and to celebrate the potential of young people as partners in today’s global society.

Fondazione Milan focuses its work on interventions and projects that use sport and its values to help young people in difficulty build a better future for themselves. In recent years, through sport, which has the great ability to educate, aggregate and inspire, Fondazione Milan has sided with many young people who are hindered by pressing social issues, such as poverty, violence and discrimination.
