Soccer as personal growth and social redemption
THE PROJECT
Fondazione Milan’s principals in India will double in the 2022-2023 season thanks to a partnership with Comitato Gruppo India, landing in Kerala, in the city of Kozhicode. The project, in collaboration with a local educational institution, will allow about 50 young students, girls and boys, to receive a sports scholarship to attend soccer and sports education courses.
THE PURPOSES
The purpose of the project is to provide sports and soccer education services to the students of Venerini EM Higher Secondary School Farook College through the enhancement of sports facilities and soccer courses offered by the school.
The students involved will be divided into three teams as follows: 19 Juniores (14-16 years old) and 16 Sub-Juniores (12-14 years old) and one Juniores female team with 19 girls (between 12 and 16 years old), for a total of 54 young soccer players.
The support will also make it possible to upgrade the existing soccer field by carrying out renovation and modernization works and to purchase all the necessary equipment for the teams and those who attend the sports field.
