Sport for Change Corvetto: we are back in Nocetum!

This year too, the kids have the chance to enjot the experience of the City Farm

Fondazione Milan collaboration with 'Società Cooperativa Sociale Nocetum' continues, following the positive experience of the social agricultural lab from the past season.
This year too, the kids of the Corvetto branch can create a small vegetable garden, following closely all its steps, know all the aspects of apiculture, learning from professionals.
The aim is to help them grow in independence, self-belief, flexibility, organisation and planning, attention to details, managing information, proactivity, ability to communicate, problem-solving and leadership.
After a first introductory meeting to outline the details of the project (identify the right place to create the vegetable garden, define the different tasks and the activities), every working day will have a specific objective:
- Compost and seeding; honey plants
- Taking care of the vegetables garden and knowing the combination of plants; discover a beehive
- The Mediterranean diet
- Defend the fruit and vegetable garden and apiary activities
- Honey extractions
- Jams and sweets

After these meetings, the kids and the educators will go through the phases of the project to assess the results obtained.
